Chicago

Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) provides cancer care at three area locations. CTCA® Chicago is a comprehensive cancer treatment hospital located in Zion, Illinois, midway between Chicago and Milwaukee. At our Chicago hospital, experienced doctors, Magnet®-recognized nurses and other clinicians work together in one location, providing integrative cancer treatment tailored to each patient. At our Outpatient Care Center in Downtown Chicago, located in the Streeterville neighborhood, our cancer experts offer patients in and around Chicago convenient access to personalized cancer care, including CyberKnife® radiosurgery technology. And at our Outpatient Care Center in Gurnee, located in Lake County, Illinois, patients in northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin have convenient outpatient access to medical oncology, hematology and infusion services. At each of our locations, we have experts with years of experience treating common, rare and complex cancers. Our expertise comes from working exclusively with cancer patients.

Patient-focused expert care

At its heart, a "center" is the focal point for a key mission or purpose. At CTCA, that mission is to provide individualized, whole-person care to our patients, and our cancer experts understand the value of focusing on one specific cancer type. That's why CTCA created its centers model, which brings together multidisciplinary teams of doctors and other clinicians with expertise in treating specific cancer types. The Breast Cancer Center, the Lung Cancer Center and the GI Cancer Center in Chicago reflect our deep commitment to delivering advanced treatment options to patients fighting a complex disease.

Experts on what's available now, and what's on the horizon for these cancer types, the centers clinicians collaborate daily. This close coordination helps them reach a diagnosis more efficiently and recommend an individualized care plan, so you can make an educated decision about your treatment. Knowing that fighting cancer is only part of the battle, your centers care team may also suggest various evidence-supported care services to help you manage the side effects of cancer and its treatment. Each patient's team is coordinated by a care manager, who helps you handle the details and responds to your questions as they arise.

In addition to our Breast and Lung Cancer Centers, CTCA Chicago offers a wide range of treatments, programs and services for patients with other cancer types. Click the link below to learn more about some of our medical departments.
