The quality care you deserve

In 2020, our hospital received a five-star quality rating by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and in February 2020, our Illinois hospital was named among the top patient-recommended hospitals in the country, according to HCAHPS scores collected from April 2018 through March 2019. At least 93 percent of patients at these hospitals responded, "Yes, I would definitely recommend the hospital." Read more in this story from Becker's Hospital Review.

Each year, U.S. New & World Report evaluates the performance of nearly 4,400 hospitals nationwide in lung cancer surgery using data on patient survival, nurse staffing, volume and more. Hospitals receive one of three ratings: high-performing, average or below-average. For 2020-21, our City of Hope comprehensive treatment hospital in northern Lake County, Illinois received the highest possible ranking for lung cancer surgery, and was named a "high-performing" hospital in this category.
