Clinical trials

CTCA Phoenix is committed to bringing our patients new and innovative cancer treatment options. One way we do that is through our clinical research program. Our clinical trials explore new treatment options that may lead to tomorrow’s medicine and offer patients treatments that may not otherwise be available to them.

These studies are an essential testing ground for measuring the effectiveness of drugs and other treatments before they can be granted FDA approval. Your care team will work with you to determine if you are a candidate for one of our ongoing clinical trials and, if so, our clinicians will help you enroll.

The TAPUR study

The Targeted Agent and Profiling Utilization Registry (TAPUR) study is a clinical trial that aims to improve our understanding of how commercially available anti-cancer drugs perform on a broader range of cancers, by matching the drugs to tumors with specific genomic mutations that the drugs are designed to target. CTCA enrolls qualified patients at all five of our hospitals.
