Yung Ray Jow, MD, MPH, serves as a clinical professor of anesthesiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. With more than three decades of experience, Dr. Jow has devoted his career to delivering exceptional anesthetic care across multiple specialties, including obstetrics, neurology, pediatrics and critical care.
A diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), Dr. Jow earned his medical degree from National Taiwan University of Medicine, the country’s premier medical institution. He went on to complete an internal medicine internship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, and anesthesiology residencies at both the University of Chicago Medical Center and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University in New York City.
Dr. Jow also holds a master of public health from the University of California, Los Angeles, Fielding School of Public Health and achieved one of the nation’s top three scores on the ABA board certification exam. After nearly 25 years in Southern California, he takes great pride in serving his community and advancing patient care through innovative anesthesiology practices.
