Yan Xing, M.D., Ph.D., is a medical oncologist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where she works with patients with a range of cancer types, including skin cancer, melanoma and thyroid cancer.
An experienced physician-scholar, Dr. Xing believes in a compassionate approach to treating cancer and a collaborative ethos when working with her patients and their loved ones. She has a strong interest in using both long-term data analysis and innovative, personalized medicine approaches to improve health outcomes for patients at City of Hope and beyond.
Dr. Xing earned her medical degree at Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in China, before going on to receive a doctoral degree in biostatistics from the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston. She then pursued a fellowship in medical oncology at Houston Methodist Hospital and an additional fellowship in Phase I clinical trials at MD Andersen Cancer Center.
