About Me

Wei Li, M.D., is an associate clinical professor of anesthesiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. As a board-certified anesthesiologist, she works closely with each patient’s cancer care team to make sure treatment is delivered safely and comfortably.

Dr. Li earned her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, completed her internal medicine internship at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago and finished her anesthesiology and critical care residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Before joining City of Hope, she served patients at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in Glendora, where she was nominated for “Physician of the Year” in 2023.

Passionate about community health, Dr. Li has led smoking cessation workshops for Asian American communities in California and volunteered at free clinics for migrant farm workers. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, she enjoys travel, the performing arts and spending time with her family.
