About Me

Wei Feng, M.D., is a board-certified endocrinologist and assistant clinical professor at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. Dr. Feng brings decades of experience and a compassionate, patient-first approach to treating complex endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, obesity and adrenal and pituitary diseases.

Originally from China, Dr. Feng earned her medical degree at the University of Heidelberg in Germany, then completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Memphis in Tennessee and an endocrinology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Her early career included a hospitalist role at Memphis Regional Medical Center and a faculty position in general internal medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Dr. Feng’s commitment to advancing treatment options for people living with diabetes goes beyond the clinic. She has served as principal investigator for several key clinical trials focused on improving outcomes for high-risk diabetic patients. Her research has explored cardiovascular health, managing diabetic peripheral neuropathy, supporting islet cell transplantation and exploring novel therapies for type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Through her longstanding work at City of Hope, Dr. Feng has helped countless patients lead healthier lives—and her ongoing research continues to shape the future of diabetes care.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
