As a radiation oncologist at City of Hope® Antelope Valley, Trevor Lim, M.D., works closely with patients’ cancer care teams to provide targeted radiation treatments for a wide range of cancers that minimize side effects for his patients. His greatest motivation is to help his patients live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Dr. Lim earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He then completed an internal medicine residency at the David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California, followed by a fellowship in hematology-oncology at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and a residency in radiation oncology at Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta. Holding dual board certifications in radiation oncology and medical oncology, Dr. Lim brings an exceptional breadth of expertise across multiple areas of cancer treatment.
A native of Southern California, Dr. Lim retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2020 as a lieutenant colonel after an accomplished 22-year career, during which he served as chief of radiation oncology at the San Antonio Military Medical Center. His service earned him the Air Force Commendation Medal and two Meritorious Service Awards. In 2010, he was deployed to the Craig Joint Theater Hospital at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
