About Me

Anesthesiologist Tracie Tran, MD, is dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care to patients at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, helping make their treatment experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Motivated by a lifelong desire to improve the lives of others, Dr. Tran earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. In her work, Dr. Tran draws upon her deep understanding of chemistry, physics and physiology to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that enhances comfort and quality of life. Her mission is to guide patients through the challenges of cancer treatment with empathy and respect.

Dr. Tran has participated in several research initiatives and has volunteered extensively in underserved communities both domestically and abroad. She is also an active member of the American Medical Association and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
