Dr. Haider joined CTCA® in October 2015. His areas of expertise include medical oncology care, benign and malignant hematology and stem cell transplantation. Patient ratings
The patient ratings and comments on this page are obtained from an external Press Ganey® outpatient survey provided to all eligible CTCA patients within one to two weeks of their treatment occurrence. Raw data from the answers to the survey questions about our physicians are calculated by Press Ganey into a one- to five- star rating. In the spirit of transparency, all patient comments are posted as written by the patient, whether they are positive or negative. We only exclude comments if they are deemed to be slanderous or libelous, contain profanity or vulgar language, or do not relate to the patient's experience with the doctor involved. As a result, the comments are the views and opinions of the patients surveyed and are not endorsed by, and may not necessarily reflect the opinion of, CTCA.

"When the oncologist, *Dr. Syed Haider, walked into the room, he had the presence of being confident and in-charge of the entire room. He also seemed totally in the moment. When he started talking to me, my first thought was that I was in the presence of a genius. When he began to explain my cancer, from a medical perspective, his use of medical terms and non-medical terminology, was easy as a lay person to comprehend, but contained a subtlety that I found amazing. I was/am very impressed with *Dr. Haider, as an educated professional and physician."

"I have been to 4 other oncologist and all of them always do a physical exam to included checking my abdomen and the lymph nodes and under my arms and groin region. I told the doctor I am having trouble with my lymph in groin and now under my arms. So the doctor at CTCA checks the lymph nodes in my neck and never check my under arms or groin nor did he check stomach. A person can have enlarged lymph nodes under the arm and groin and no enlarged nodes in the neck."
