Swetha Ramachandran, M.D., is an assistant clinical professor of cardiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. She believes in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients so they can take an active role in their care and decision-making.
Dr. Ramachandran earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, completed her internal medicine residency at Boston Medical Center at Boston University and returned to USC for her fellowship in cardiovascular medicine. She chose cardiology to care for patients through every stage of their journey — from treating urgent heart problems to managing long-term conditions.
A member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Medical Association, Dr. Ramachandran was recognized as a physician executive fellow in Quality and Patient Safety during her time at Boston Medical Center.
