About Me

Dr. Swapnil Rajurkar is a medical oncologist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where he works closely to diagnose and treat cancers of the lung, prostate and female reproductive system. He brings a patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing empathy, personalized treatment plans and the use of both innovative therapies, including clinical trials, and leading-edge technology. 

A member of both the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology, Dr. Rajurkar has contributed to respected publications such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology and has shared his research at conferences across the country. 

Dr. Rajurkar believes in offering thoughtful, compassionate care guided by the latest evidence-based therapies, ensuring that every patient receives treatment tailored to their unique needs. Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Rajurkar enjoys spending quality time with his family and playing tennis—an activity he values for both fitness and relaxation.
