Sudarsan Vishnu Kollimuttathuillam, M.D., is a medical oncologist and hematologist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where he provides compassionate, expert care that centers on the unique needs of each patient. Dr. Kollimuttathuillam is particularly focused on advancing cancer care beyond the traditional approaches of the past to incorporate more leading-edge options and access to clinical trials.
Dr. Kollimuttathuillam earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in Kottayam, India, followed by a residency at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, and a fellowship at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. His research contributions include studies on engraftment syndrome—a serious complication related to stem cell transplants—as well as analyses of blood-related issues in COVID-19 patients.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kollimuttathuillam enjoys spending time outdoors, playing chess and practicing mindfulness.
