Sherwin G. Dela Cruz, MD, has a deep passion for cardiology and the meaningful impact it allows him to make—both in enhancing his patients’ quality of life and in advancing the field through innovation and research. As a cardiologist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, Dr. Dela Crux works closely with patients experiencing heart health issues related to their cancer or its treatments.
Dr. Dela Cruz earned his medical degree from the University of Hawaii, followed by an internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Before joining City of Hope, he cared for underserved patients at the Saban Community Clinic in Los Angeles and worked as a staff cardiologist for a medical group in Monterey, California.
