About Me

Savita Dandapani, M.D., Ph.D., is a radiation oncologist dedicated to helping cancer patients at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte get optimal results from radiation therapy while reducing side effects. Her commitment to both patient care and research has earned her multiple honors, including awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Association for Cancer Research. 

Dr. Dandapani completed both her medical and doctoral degrees at Harvard Medical School and went on to finish her residency in radiation oncology at the University of Southern California.

"I feel very honored and blessed that I was able to be treated by COH. From day one, when I first met with the COH people, and was adv. Of my problem and the treatment that was needed. All the experiences that I experienced, were very satisfactory, and I felt cared for and that the end results, would be beneficial in my healing process. Fortunately, at the end of all my treatments, the results were successful. Dr. Dandapani , and her staff, and all the office personnel, were always very nice and accommodating . Being a Christian, I am very thankful that the Lord allowed me to be treated at COH. May God continued to Bless you all , and your work, and service to helping people that need your loving and expert care."
