Saniya Ahmad, M.D., is an assistant clinical professor and diagnostic radiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. After losing her father and a close friend to cancer, Dr. Ahmad was inspired to dedicate her career to helping others through early detection and compassionate care. She brings both expertise and empathy to her work, specializing in breast and women’s imaging.
In addition to performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, Dr. Ahmad focuses on helping patients clearly understand their test results and transition from diagnosis to treatment as smoothly and confidently as possible.
Dr. Ahmad earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City and went on to complete a breast and women’s imaging fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
