About Me

Roshni Shah, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant at City of Hope® Cancer Center Chicago, where she collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to provide compassionate, exceptional care for patients diagnosed with a wide range of cancers. Shah has a particular focus on women’s cancer care, often working with those receiving chemotherapy treatment for endometrial, ovarian, cervical, vaginal or vulvar cancer.

“I find great satisfaction in making a positive impact in the lives of those struggling to fight cancer,” Shah says. “I am dedicated to City of Hope’s mission and am proud of the standard of care we deliver to all patients.”

A member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, Shah received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, after completing her undergraduate studies at Loyola University in Chicago.

Prior to joining City of Hope, Shah served as a physician assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, working closely with renal and pulmonary transplant medicine specialists and those diagnosing and treating adult cystic fibrosis. In that role, she helped manage complex medical issues, including organ transplant rejection, kidney health issues and sepsis, and served as primary clinician for up to eight patients receiving inpatient care. Before moving to Boston, she spent two years working in City of Hope Chicago’s breast and plastic surgery division.

In addition to English, Shah speaks Hindi and Gujarati. In her free time, she is a certified yoga teacher who loves to cook and bake with her family and friends.

Patient reviews
The patient ratings and comments on this page are obtained from an external Press Ganey® outpatient survey provided to all eligible City of Hope patients within one to two weeks of their treatment occurrence. Raw data from the answers to the survey questions about our physicians are calculated by Press Ganey into a one- to five- star rating. In the spirit of transparency, all patient comments are posted as written by the patient, whether they are positive or negative. We only exclude comments if they are deemed to be slanderous or libelous, contain profanity or vulgar language, or do not relate to the patient's experience with the doctor involved. As a result, the comments are the views and opinions of the patients surveyed and are not endorsed by, and may not necessarily reflect the opinion of, City of Hope.
