Medical Oncologist
Ramya Muddasani, D.O., M.S., is an assistant clinical professor of medical oncology and therapeutics research at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte and a practicing hematologist-oncologist. Dr. Muddasani chose to pursue cancer care because it gives her the opportunity to help develop advanced treatments that build a stronger standard of care for her patients and for all people diagnosed with the disease.
After earning her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Dr. Muddasani completed her a residency in internal medicine at New York University Long Island School of Medicine. She then completed a fellowship in hematology-oncology at City of Hope, after which she served as a hospital medicine physician at City of Hope’s main campus in Duarte.
Dr. Muddasani’s research focuses on lung and skin cancers. She has co-authored more than a dozen articles published in leading medical journals and she is passionate about applying her knowledge and experience to developing new therapies with the potential to make a real difference in the lives of cancer patients.
