D.O.
Radiation Oncologist
“I treat the patient, not the symptoms,” says Paul Mandelin, D.O., a board-certified radiation oncologist at City of Hope’s Corona community location. “It’s a team approach that helps patients navigate treatment and recovery.”
Dr. Mandelin earned his master’s degree in radiation physics from Finch University of Health Sciences at Chicago Medical School in 2000, followed by his medical degree from Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California, in 2006. He completed his internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, followed by residency training in radiation oncology at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he served as chief resident.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mandelin enjoys trout fishing, staying active, restoring classic cars, and exploring technology — from computers and audio/visual systems to GPS and amateur radio.
