Parisa Malekzadeh, M.D., is a surgical oncologist at City of Hope® locations in Corona and Upland, where she provides patients with advanced and often minimally invasive surgical options to treat a range of cancers, including skin, gastrointestinal and breast cancers. Her approach to care is grounded in respect, collaboration and open communication. She’s deeply committed to creating a supportive environment where patients feel empowered and take an active role in their care.
Dr. Malekzadeh earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. She completed her surgical training through an internship and two residencies at Eastern Virginia Medical School, followed by a research fellowship in tumor immunobiology and immunotherapy at the National Cancer Institute’s Surgery Branch. She then completed a complex surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Malekzadeh is active in research on innovative cancer treatments, including immunotherapy, T cell therapies and clinical trial design. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as The Journal of Clinical Investigation and Clinical Cancer Research.
