Parima Daroui, MD, PhD, was drawn to medicine early in life after serving as primary caregiver for her mother. Now, as an associate clinical professor of radiation oncology at City of Hope’s® Wildomar and Temecula radiation oncology clinics, Dr. Daroui focuses on providing compassionate, personalized care for patients with breast cancer.
After earning both her medical degree and a PhD in cellular and molecular pharmacology, Dr. Daroui completed advanced clinical training and research under the mentorship of internationally recognized breast cancer specialist Bruce Haffty. This experience helped shape her patient-centered philosophy and her interest in advancing breast cancer care.
Dr. Daroui is highly engaged in national leadership and academic service. She has served as an expert moderator at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) annual meeting and is an associate editor for Advances in Radiation Oncology. She also contributes to the NRG Ancillary Study Committee and serves on breast cancer guideline committees for both the American Radium Society and ASTRO. Recognized by her peers as a “Top Doctor — Physician of Excellence” for four consecutive years, she has authored numerous publications, including a book chapter on ductal carcinoma in situ and multiple studies focused on improving outcomes for patients receiving radiation therapy.
Dr. Daroui is fluent in Farsi and also speaks some Italian and French.
