About Me

Medical oncologist Neha Patil, M.D., brings both skill and heart to her care at City of Hope® Antelope Valley. Inspired by her father, also a physician, she follows his advice closely: “Always remember, the patient comes first.” Triple board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, she’s committed to offering the most advanced treatments backed by the latest cancer research.

Dr. Patil earned her medical degree in India at Jawahar Medical Foundation’s ACPM Medical College and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She then pursued subspecialty training in hematology and oncology at Henry Ford Health System at Wayne State University in Detroit, where she served as chief administrative fellow. During her time there, she was named fellow of the year and received the prestigious Robert Chapman, M.D., Outstanding Fellow Award.

Before joining City of Hope in 2024, Dr. Patil worked as a senior staff physician and lab director at North Mississippi Medical Center. She has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and was honored with the Gynecologic Oncology Group Foundation’s Young Investigator Travel Award.

Patient reviews
The patient ratings and comments on this page are obtained from an external Press Ganey® outpatient survey provided to all eligible City of Hope patients within one to two weeks of their treatment occurrence. Raw data from the answers to the survey questions about our physicians are calculated by Press Ganey into a one- to five- star rating. In the spirit of transparency, all patient comments are posted as written by the patient, whether they are positive or negative. We only exclude comments if they are deemed to be slanderous or libelous, contain profanity or vulgar language, or do not relate to the patient's experience with the doctor involved. As a result, the comments are the views and opinions of the patients surveyed and are not endorsed by, and may not necessarily reflect the opinion of, City of Hope.
