Joining City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte has allowed Neel Sagar Talwar, M.D., to pursue his dual passions: delivering exceptional care to people facing cancer and contributing to groundbreaking advances in oncology. As a medical hematologist and oncologist, Dr. Talwar has builds meaningful connections to his patients and is dedicated to offering the most advanced care for a wide range of cancer types.
Dr. Talwar earned his medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine, followed by clinical training at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and NYU Winthrop Hospital, both in New York City. He has also conducted research projects for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and studied tuberculosis vaccine development at the Aeras Global TB Vaccine Foundation.
Recognized with multiple academic honors, Dr. Talwar is enthusiastic about his role at City of Hope, where he aims to bring the latest scientific innovations directly to his patients through compassionate, evidence-based care.
