Moshe Faynsod, M.D., is a board-certified surgical oncologist known for his expertise, compassion and dedication to delivering advanced cancer care. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Faynsod consistently earns high praise from patients for both his surgical skills and approachability. 

“I am constantly striving to incorporate novel and emerging technologies to provide better and safer care for my patients,” he says. 

Dr. Faynsod earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, followed by residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He completed his surgical oncology fellowship at City of Hope^®. 

Now practicing at City of Hope’s South Bay location, Dr. Faynsod finds deep meaning in serving his longtime community. “The opportunity to work with City of Hope — where I became a surgical oncologist — and to provide care in the community I’ve been a part of for more than 20 years is second to none,” he says.
