About Me

Matthew Cilimberg, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant in the division of thoracic surgery at City of Hope® Atlanta, where he provides dedicated, personalized care for patients receiving treatment for cancers affecting the abdomen and thorax.

Since earning his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Drexel University College of Health Professionals, Cilimberg has specialized in working with thoracic surgery patients. He was also an emergency medical technician and first responder for the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad, which provides emergency care for the institution’s sports teams.

Outside of City of Hope, Cilimberg is a sports enthusiast and Virginia Tech fan who enjoys spending time with his wife and pets, going camping and gardening and pursuing his woodworking hobby.
