Radiologist; Assistant Clinical Professor of Diagnostic Radiology
Mariko Fitzgibbons, MD, is a radiologist and an assistant clinical professor of diagnostic radiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where she specializes in neuroimaging.
Dr. Fitzgibbons earned her undergraduate degrees in molecular and cell biology and English literature from the University of California, Berkeley, before going on to receive her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. After a transitional year internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, Dr. Fitzgibbons completed her radiology residency and a fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
She has received multiple honors, including the Cum Laude Award from the Radiological Society of North America for her educational exhibit titled “Primer of Brainstem I.” Dr. Fitzgibbons has authored numerous abstracts and research publications in her specialty and presented at conferences nationally.
