About Me

As a hospitalist at City of Hope^® Cancer Center Duarte, Maria F. Santander, MD, offers compassionate care to patients undergoing treatment at our Southern California hospital.

Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Santander completed her medical degree at Far Eastern University in her native Philippines, before pursuing an internal medicine internship at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine North General Hospital in New York City. She joined City of Hope in 2008 and has been a primary care physician and internist for more than 25 years.
