About Me

Maria L. Parayno, M.D., is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist and nuclear medicine specialist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte.

After receiving her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Parayno completed a general surgery internship at Stanford University. Her dual residency in diagnostic radiology took place jointly at the University of California, San Francisco, and Case Medical Center and her nuclear medicine fellowship at the Harvard‐Brigham & Women’s Joint Program in Boston.

Dr. Parayno is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
