Dr. Larry Ladi joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in January 2017. Dr. Ladi provides care to CTCA® patients through several roles, as a Critical Care Medicine Physician, Interventional Pulmonologist and Pulmonary Diseases Physician.

As a critical care physician, Dr. Ladi cares for cancer patients with life-threatening complications from cancer or its related treatments, as well as non-cancer-related acute diseases. He uses the standard-of-care and innovative technologies to monitor and manage patients. As an interventional pulmonologist, Dr. Ladi cares for patients with complex airway and pleural diseases. He also is trained on techniques in bronchoscopic and bedside pleural interventions.

“At CTCA, I have access to state-of-the-art technology and resources, which help me better facilitate delivery of cancer treatments,” says Dr. Ladi. “Patients benefit by receiving personalized cancer treatment combined with supportive therapies to help reduce side effects.”

Dr. Ladi completed a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Houston. He received his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico. Dr. Ladi completed two residencies before finishing a fellowship in sleep medicine, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine, serving as chief fellow, at Hahnemann University Hospital and Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Ladi then completed fellowship training in interventional pulmonology at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Prior to joining CTCA, Dr. Ladi spent several years as an emergency room physician and critical care physician for various hospitals and health systems. He has been published in several journals and books, and is a member of many organizations, including the International Society of Pleural Diseases, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Thoracic Society, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, and the American College of Chest Physicians. He currently serves as Clinical Adjunct Professor at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Outside of CTCA, Dr. Ladi enjoys fishing, traveling and cooking. He is also an avid classic car aficionado and likes to attend car club shows.
