Gastroenterologist
Lance Uradomo, M.D., M.P.H., an interventional gastroenterologist at City of Hope City of Hope® Cancer Center Orange County, believes in having thoughtful conversations with his patients to fully understand their symptoms, concerns and goals. This partnership approach allows him to develop personalized care plans, including treatments other than surgery when possible.
Dr. Uradomo earned both his medical degree and a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University, where he also spent time as an intern at the U.S. Surgeon General’s office. He then completed his internal medicine residency and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Maryland, gaining specialized training in advanced endoscopy.
Before joining City of Hope, Dr. Uradomo taught and trained medical students as an assistant professor at both The George Washington University and the University of Maryland. He has also contributed to research aimed at improving patient outcomes and was tapped by the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna to help create guidelines for the safe use of X-rays in gastroenterology.
Hailing from Orange County, Dr. Uradomo is an avid Angels baseball fan and enjoys spending his free time outdoors with his wife and two children.
