Kristina Wittig, M.D., is a urologic surgeon and assistant clinical professor of urologic oncology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where she specializes in the treatment of a wide range of urologic disorders, including bladder cancer, male incontinence, erectile dysfunction and benign tumors of the genitourinary system.
Dr. Wittig earned her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine, where she graduated with high honors and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She pursued a residency in urology at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, followed by fellowship training in urologic oncology at City of Hope.
Dr. Wittig has authored several academic publications and presented numerous research abstracts at meetings of the American Urological Association. One of her recent peer-reviewed studies, titled Critical Analysis of Hospital Readmission and Cost Burden after Robot-Assisted Radical Cystectomy, was selected for presentation at the association’s national conference.
Known for combining expert surgical skills with a compassionate and approachable bedside manner, Dr. Wittig is dedicated to serving her patients at City of Hope.
