Kai Dallas, M.D. is a urologic surgeon at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte and the chief of urology at City of Hope® Palmdale. Dr. Dallas takes a whole-person approach to care, focusing not just on the physical symptoms of illness, but also on each patient’s emotional and mental well-being. He believes in listening closely to his patients and working with a team of specialists to create treatment plans that support a better quality of life.
Dr. Dallas earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where he was honored for his achievements in research. He went on to complete his urology residency at Stanford University in California, followed by an advanced fellowship in genitourinary reconstruction and female pelvic medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Dallas cares for people with a range of conditions including bladder issues, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urethral stricture disease and fistulas. In addition to his clinical work, he researches how health outcomes vary across different patient groups and explores ways that artificial intelligence can be used to improve diagnosis and treatment.
When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Dallas enjoys relaxing with family and friends and hitting the hiking trails with his dog.
