Jimmie C. Wong, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. He previously served at UCLA as an assistant professor of radiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Wong graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University with a biochemistry degree and later earned his medical degree from Duke University.
He completed his internal medicine internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Washington Medical Center. He then received advanced training through a fellowship in abdominal imaging at UCLA. board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2005, Dr. Wong has authored several peer-reviewed research papers and conference abstracts.
