Ji Hyun Kim, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist and assistant clinical professor at City of Hope® South Bay, where she provides advanced, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, followed by her master’s and doctorate at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, then returned to City of Hope for her residency in radiation oncology, where she also served as chief resident.
A member of several distinguished professional organizations, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, and the Radiological Society of North America, Dr. Kim is deeply engaged in advancing her field. To this end, she has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and contributed to innovative translational research at City of Hope, with a focus on improving treatment precision and outcomes for cancer patients.
Since joining City of Hope in 2013 as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Kim has been dedicated to delivering leading-edge radiation therapy regimens with both empathy and expertise, bringing technical excellence and personalized care to every patient.
