Henry Yampolsky, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist serving patients at City of Hope® West Hills. Born in the former Soviet Union, Dr. Yampolsky first studied computer science in Moscow, before moving to the United States in 1992, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, and later completed his medical degree at the University of Southern California (USC) in the same city.
Dr. Yampolsky concluded his medical training at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and Los Angeles General Medical Center, where he gained wide-ranging clinical experience in cancer care. During this time, he developed particular expertise in advanced technologies such as intensity modulated radiation therapy and stereotactic radiotherapy.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Yampolsky has helped design and lead clinical trials exploring new cancer treatments and presented research on the treatment of lymphoma and leukemia with radiation therapy approaches at national scientific conferences.
