Medical Oncologist and Hematologist
Gregory Gilmore, DO, is a medical oncologist at hematologist at City of Hope® Corona, where he works closely with patients with a wide range of caner types to craft personalized treatment plans that fit their unique diagnosis and health goals and preserve their quality of life.
Dr. Gilmore values the strong relationships he builds with patients and their families and he’s dedicated to providing expert care with a compassionate approach. He received his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He also completed an residency in internal medicine and a hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of California San Francisco’s Fresno Medical Education Program, where he also served as chief fellow.
At City of Hope, Dr. Gilmore is excited to offer patients access to advanced clinical trials that may help them live longer and feel better during treatment and to bringing the latest in cancer therapies into the clinic.
Outside of work, Dr. Gilmore enjoys staying active by playing basketball, skiing, and hiking. He also likes cooking, baking, gardening, and exploring new places.
