He is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist and a clinical professor in the Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte.
Dr. Semeniuk is known for his compassionate and attentive approach, as well as his collaborative philosophy of care, working with patients and their care team to create treatment plans that align with their personal goals and values. His clinical focus includes head and neck cancers, lung cancer and skin cancer. In the research lab, Dr. Semeniuk supports research efforts at City of Hope that are focused on developing and testing new cancer therapies. With training in integrative oncology, he blends evidence-based complementary approaches with conventional treatments to support each patient physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Dr. Semeniuk earned his medical degree from St. George’s University in New York. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also served as chief resident, as well as fellowships in both hematology/oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and integrative medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
