Ferra Lin-Duffy, D.O., F.A.C.O.S., is a breast surgeon who cares for patients at City of Hope® locations in Arcadia and South Pasadena. She believes in a team-based approach, working closely with patients, their families and their care teams to offer advanced, minimally invasive surgical options for breast cancer.
Dr. Lin-Duffy earned her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, and completed her general surgery residency at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. She then pursued a specialized fellowship in breast surgical oncology at the University of Arkansas.
She has published several research articles in her field and is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese, Dr. Lin-Duffy has also participated in medical mission trips to American Samoa and the Dominican Republic.
