About Me

As a daughter of two physicians, medical oncologist Farah Quyyumi, M.D., always felt like a career in medicine was her calling. She specializes in cancer and blood disorders because it allows her to build strong, lasting relationships with her patients as they face some of life’s most difficult challenges.

Dr. Quyyumi understands the importance of trust when navigating a cancer diagnosis, and she approaches every patient with openness, compassion and a commitment to whole-person care. She stays up to date on the most advanced cancer treatments to give her patients access to the newest and most effective targeted therapies. Her own research has centered on breast cancer. Before coming to City of Hope® in 2023, she practiced at the Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation in Burbank.

When she’s not in the clinic at City of Hope Glendale, Dr. Quyyumi enjoys traveling, skiing and making memories with family and friends.

Patient reviews
The patient ratings and comments on this page are obtained from an external Press Ganey® outpatient survey provided to all eligible City of Hope patients within one to two weeks of their treatment occurrence. Raw data from the answers to the survey questions about our physicians are calculated by Press Ganey into a one- to five- star rating. In the spirit of transparency, all patient comments are posted as written by the patient, whether they are positive or negative. We only exclude comments if they are deemed to be slanderous or libelous, contain profanity or vulgar language, or do not relate to the patient's experience with the doctor involved. As a result, the comments are the views and opinions of the patients surveyed and are not endorsed by, and may not necessarily reflect the opinion of, City of Hope.
