“I knew from a young age that I wanted to help people.”
Emmanuel Mitsinikos, M.D., is a urologic surgeon at City of Hope® Glendora and City of Hope Upland, where he is dedicated to using the most advanced treatments and technologies to provide effective care for his patients. He believes in taking the time to explain all the available options so that patients feel confident and empowered in making the medical decisions that help determine their health and quality of life.
Dr. Mitsinikos is especially proud of helping patients get back to their everyday lives after treatment. He has published research on nerve-sparing surgical techniques that aim to protect men’s quality of life and fertility and he believes that City of Hope is the ideal place to continue this work, given its patient-focused approach and its role as a research leader.
Before joining City of Hope, Dr. Mitsinikos cared for patients for six years at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles.
