Pulmonologist
Elliot Ho, DO, is an assistant professor of medicine and an interventional pulmonologist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where he provides critical care founded on a team-based, compassionate philosophy that combines advanced treatment with patient education.
Dr. Ho earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, California, followed by a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno Medical Center. His advanced training in interventional pulmonology took place at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Board-certified in both internal medicine and pulmonary medicine, Dr. Ho was inspired to dedicate his career to lung cancer after witnessing his grandfather’s fight with the disease. In addition to caring for patients, he has published more than 20 scholarly papers and has taken on leadership roles that have helped bring innovative clinical programs such as robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, pleuroscopy and bronchoscopic lung volume reduction to more patients across the state and beyond.
