Cardiologist
Daniel Ng, Jr., MD, is a heart health specialist and board-certified cardiologist who brings a strong background in research, education and patient-centered care to his role at City of Hope® Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center. His work has been recognized by major organizations in his field, including the American College of Cardiology, the Heart Failure Society of America and the American Heart Association. Dr. Ng has also published several studies in respected medical journals, with one of his research projects being featured in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Before joining City of Hope, Dr. Ng served as the chief cardiology fellow at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. There, he focused on improving the safety and accuracy of heart disease diagnosis and care and played a key role in efforts to standardize the treatment of heart failure and enhance overall quality of care for patients. He completed his internal medicine residency at Scripps Clinic/Scripps Green Hospital.
Dr. Ng earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando and his undergraduate degree in science from with highest honors from the University of California, San Diego.
