About Me

Daneng Li, M.D., is a medical oncologist and the co-director of the Neuroendocrine Program at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where he focuses on caring for patients with gastrointestinal cancers, liver cancer and neuroendocrine tumors. As leader of the Liver Tumors Program and co-director of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Program, Dr. Li works closely with patients to provide expert, personalized treatment plans grounded in the latest research and advancements. 

Dr. Li completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, then went on to earn his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He completed his internal medicine training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, also in New York. 

Board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, Dr. Li is actively involved in national efforts to improve care for patients with gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine disorders. He contributes regularly to medical research and shares his findings at national conferences, helping to shape the future of cancer care.
