About Me

Christine Jun, MD, serves as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Supportive Care Medicine at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. A palliative medicine specialist, Dr. Jun earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago, completed her internal medicine residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, and later worked as a hospitalist at the University of Chicago for five years. Motivated by her dedication to caring for the most vulnerable patients, Dr. Jun completed her training with a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at the University of California, San Diego. 

Dr. Jun is committed to delivering personalized, compassionate care for every patient, Dr. Jun’s passion for service extends beyond the hospital. She has participated in global medical missions to North Korea, China, Guinea Bissau, Honduras and Mexico and she serves on the boards of the Healthcare for Peace Foundation and the Global Medical Missions Alliance. Her academic interests include global health, medical education and advance care planning.
