About Me

Cherng Chao, M.D., is an interventional radiologist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte who specializes in using advanced imaging to perform minimally invasive procedures that can make a significant impact on his patients’ lives. 

He completed medical school, a general surgery internship and diagnostic radiology residency at the University of California, San Diego, followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. Driven by a strong desire to help others, Dr. Chao is dedicated to providing innovative care that improves outcomes and quality of life.
