About Me

Bahareh Bahadini, M.D., is a medical oncologist and hematologist who brings more than 10 years’ experience in her field to her role at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. 

Dr. Bahadini’s medical training includes a residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California, and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at City of Hope, where she also completed a year of research focused on the role that genetic changes have on breast cancer. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles and holds two master’s degrees in pathology and applied physiology from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. 

Since 2007, Dr. Bahadini has been the founder and an active leader of the Wellness Through Awareness integrative medicine program at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, California.

"The very 1st time I saw Dr Bahadini, she jumped to surgery, before any scans, blood work or 2nd colonoscopy. I planned on taking notes but she said I didn't need to because her notes would be on the Portal for me to view. It was almost 3 weeks before she entered her notes. I had a 2nd appointment with [...] that following week and It would have been helpful to have Bahadini's notes with me for that appointment. I brought another person with me to the 1st appointment [...] My 2nd appointment with her went better. All the test, scans and biopsies and blood work were negative for cancer and I was feeling positive. Then she said [...] may still want to remove a section of my colon just to be safe! She does not instill confidence in me. [...]"
