Badri Modi, M.D., is an associate clinical professor of dermatology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte.
Dr. Modi is an expert in skin health, which plays an important role in the treatment plans for many cancer patients. He is dedicated to helping people manage skin-related health issues during their cancer journeys, and he specializes in detecting and treating high-risk skin cancers like melanoma. He is also an expert in providing leading-edge care for patients who experience skin health side effects related to cancer treatments such as chemotherapy for leukemia or breast cancer.
Dr. Modi earned his medical degree from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, then went on to complete an internal medicine internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. He trained in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he was also named chief resident. He has authored many research papers on topics related to cancer care and dermatology.
