Argelia J. Sandoval, MD, is an assistant clinical professor in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where she also serves as co-director of the Lung Cancer Screening Program and the Smoking Cessation Program.
Dr. Sandoval is deeply committed to the early detection of lung cancer to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Her mission is to identify and enroll individuals at higher risk—whether due to smoking, environmental exposures or family history—into the lung cancer screening program. She completed her medical degree, residency and fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.
