Radiologist
Alexander S. Jung, M.D., serves as a radiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte.
Dr. Jung earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, and his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. He then completed his internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and his residency in diagnostic radiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, both in Los Angeles. At Cedars-Sina, he was honored with the Leo G. Rigler Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and selected as chief resident.
A diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Jung previously served as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles. He is an active member of several professional medical organizations and is currently a principal investigator on a National Institutes of Health-funded project focused on advanced high-contrast ultrasound imaging. Dr. Jung’s clinical expertise includes body imaging and diagnostic radiology.
