Aileen Z. Novero, M.D., is a medical oncologist and hematologist at City of Hope® South Bay, where she is committed to giving her patients access to the most up-to-date cancer treatment options, including immunotherapy and targeted therapies, many of which are offered through clinical trials. Inspired by the strength and hope of the people she cares for, Dr. Novero believes in forming strong, lasting relationships with her patients that are built on compassion and open communication.
Fluent in Tagalog, Dr. Novero received her medical degree from Ross University in the Commonwealth of Dominica. She then completed her internship and residency at Richmond University in New York City, followed by a fellowship in oncology and hematology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Novero was honored with multiple awards throughout her training. Her current research focuses on treatments and side effects related to blood cancers.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Novero enjoys spending time in her garden.
